The African Scientific Institute (ASI) was founded in 1967. It is a non-profit organization representing a network of scientists, engineers, technologists, and health professionals, as well as young people aspiring to enter the world of science and technology.
ASI is striving to get more minorities to pursue careers in science and technology. We believe that our network of resources, which includes informed technical professionals, has an obligation to interact with the community. Through various programs sponsored by ASI, young people have an opportunity to learn about the possibilities and rewards of a profession in science, engineering, technology, mathematics, and graphic design.
