Ms. Gwendolyn D. Williams, BS MT (ASCP) SBB (ASCP)
Blood Banking Consultant

Her experience includes living in Eritrea, East Africa where she provided blood banking consultation to the Minister of Health for the National Blood Transfusion System, National Reference Laboratory, province hospitals, health center laboratories and referral hospitals. Ms. Williams has also taught Immunohematology at the University of Asmara, Eritrea, conducted lectures and trainings at the national blood bank, provincial hospitals and health centers throughout Eritrea, Africa. She has also provided analysis and consultation to the Swiss Red Cross. Ms. Williams has had abstracts accepted and presented at the ISBT and American Association Blood Banks. Ms. Williams has over 30 years of experience supervising the blood bank for the University of California at Davis Medical Center, serving as an instructor at the University of California at David Medical Center School of Medical Technology. Ms. Williams is certified blood bank assessor from AABB, specialist in blood banking technology from AABB and American Society of Clinical Pathologists(ASCP), as medical technologist from ASCP, clinical laboratory scientist from California Department of Health Services, along with having a B.S. in Biological Science from Florida AMU. Ms. Williams maintains a home in Sacramento, California.
