While Dr. Weaver has practiced General Dentistry in the downtown area of Oakland, California since 1990, he has a vast knowledge of resources of African Americans in science and technology. He holds membership in several professional and civic organizations, including the Alameda County Dental Society, California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He served on the Health Commission for the city of Berkeley, participated in Head Start Dental Advisory and screenings for Oakland, East Palo Alto and San Mateo County. Dr. Weaver has mentored youth through the Alameda County Probation Department and with the Kaiser Chemical Dependency Program.
