Atty. Paul Ware
Patent Attorney, Physicist

Prior to practicing as a Patent Attorney, his early work experience was that of Chairman of the Department of Physics at the then Alabama State College in Montgomery, AL. He worked as an Associate Physicist at Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory, developing methods for measuring and analyzing the radar cross sections of various shapes. He later went on to work for Litton Systems as a Senior Engineer; Principal Investigator in the Advanced Missile Systems for Radar Cross Section studies at Douglas Aircraft Company; Apollo Test and Operations Engineer at Space and Information Systems Division and Minuteman Systems Programmer at Autonetics Div., both at North American Rockwell; and Weapons Programmer at Hughes Aircraft Co. Atty. Ware, retired in 2002 from the California Institute of Technology with the title of Manager of Technology Utilization/Patents in the Office of Patents, where he reviewed and evaluated, with respect to intellectual property value issues, research output from Technical Members of the Staff. Prior to joining CalTech, Atty. Ware started practicing as a Patent Attorney while working at Hughes Aircraft Company, preparing and prosecuting patent applications and developing disclosures of inventions from technical personnel for patent action.
