Mr. Shelly W. Riley, II
Fighter Aircraft Mission Simulations

Retired Director of Mission Simulation and Support Systems Programs for Loral Vought Systems Corporation where he had total cost, schedule and technical performance responsibilities for developing weapon system system simulators, support equipment and logistic for Loral Vought's Line-of-Sight Anti-Tank Program. Mr. Riley joined Loral Vought Systems Corporation in 1980 as Chief Engineer for the A-7 Tactical Fighter Support Systems Program. Prior to joining his present company, he was Unit Chief for Avionics Software Development for McDonnell Douglas for the F-18 Quadruplex Digital Control-By-Wire Flight Control System. His responsibilities included developing complex detailed computer program specifications, developing the software and critical documentation, subcontractor management, integration of the Quad Redundant System into the flight simulator for technical evaluation and verification of safety of flight parameters prior to flight test. Additionally, he was Chief Engineer for avionics laboratory integration for the F-4 Advanced Wild Weasel Program for software simulation. Mr. Riley also served as a McDonnell Douglas consultant to the U.S. Air Force for retrofit of Loran Navigation Systems for the F-4D aircraft.
