He has served as the Head of the Poliomyelitis Control Department at the Congolese Ministry of Health. Dr. Mongo duties has also served as the Director of the National Malaria Control Program, Director of his country's fight against Ebola. He has also been his country’s Director of the struggle against buruli ulcers.
