Dr. Denise L. Johnson, M.D.
Cancer Research

Oncologist and Surgeon. Associate Professor of Surgery at Stanford University Medical School. She served as one of four Advising Deans for medical students for six years. Currently she is a Stanford Undergraduate Advisor. Dr. Johnson is Director of Melanoma Surgery and focuses on breast cancer and soft tissue sarcoma surgical treatment. She has numerous abstracts and publishing’s about her expertise. Some of her recent Basic Science Research Projects include: Effects of Growth Hormone and GH Analogues on a Radiation Induced Pancreatic Tumor Cell Line, Analysis of Cellular Immune Response and Histocompatibility Expression in a Mouse Intracranial Sarcoma. and Effect of Somatostatin Peptide Analogues in a rat sarcoma model. Dr. Johnson is on the board of Friends of Faith, a regional organization to help underserved women with breast cancer. She is also a member of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women-Silicon Valley.
