He was a scientist in the aerospace industry from the early 1970’s through the early 1990’s. During this period, he earned his doctorate from Stanford University in Neuropsychology/Computer Science, and completed a post-doctorate at the MIT in Bioastronautics. The aerospace neurophysiologist, who worked with NASA, AT&T Bell Laboratories, and Lockheed Missiles & Space Co. Laboratories. He ended his involvement with the defense industry at the conclusion of the Cold War, and began pursuing a career in education, educational management, and community outreach. He was an Army Officer, with a specialty in air defense artillery systems, coupled with his academic training in the brain sciences and aviation, lead to assignments on projects such as the Strategic Defense Initiative ("Star Wars") Space-Based Command Center, the Army Experimental Light Helicopter Development Program, and Brain Controlled Cockpit Automation Technology. Dr. Greene plays drums and flute, and has worked with artists such as Dexter Gordon, Eddie Henderson, and Charles Earland. He has several publications in the sciences and engineering, and has founded or co-founded several educational programs targeting the underprivileged. |
