Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young, Ph.D. Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, with her major area of specialization: Ergonomics/Human Factors Engineering and minor areas of specialization: Safety Engineering and Statistics. Her research specialty areas include Human Performance Modeling, Industrial Ergonomics, Ergonomic Design for Special Populations, Prevention and Control of Cumulative, Trauma Disorders, Occupational Safety and Health, Virtual Reality, Human Reliability, and Information Security. Cureently, she teaches Industrial Ergonomics, Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomic Design for Special Populations, Safety Engineering, Work Physiology, Work Design, and Human Factors Engineering. Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young has many journal publishings, as well as co-authoring the book "Industrial Engineering Research Solutions". She has worked on several industrial research projects with companies such as UPS, IBM, Caterpillar, Intel, Garan Manufacturing, and Southwest Airlines. |
