Born in Igombegombe, Rio Benito (Rio Muni), Equatorial Guinea; Dr. Biko earned his university education in the United States, with advanced degrees in civil engineering & mathematics. He worked as a structural engineer with a private engineering firm; computer graphics designer with N.Y. C. Department of Environmental Protection, and taught mathematics at Saint Francis College and New York City Technical College of the City University of New York. Dr. Biko is fluent in Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, Fang & Lingala. His first book, Fernando Póo wass written in Spanish. His new book, Equatorial Guinea: from Spanish Colonialism to the Discovery of Oil, was written in English and translated by him into Spanish and French.
