With 23 years in the chemical industry, Gerald decided to start his own company, B-dock Educational Products. What started out as a desire to teach his sons chemistry, has turned into a growing company that is developing numerous products and services. At present, his products consist of books, a game, posters, a CD and math products. They are providing several services, Kids for Chemistry workshops, Chemistry Concepts for Operators and Technicians and Kids for Chemistry Clubs -- all are designed to make learning chemistry and math easier. Kids for Chemistry I teaches the first 20 atoms on the periodic table, ions, acids and bases, oxidation and reduction, organic chemistry and electrochemistry. Kids for Chemistry II takes you up to hydrogen fuel cells and is a work in progress. The Kids for Chemistry series is an ever growing work in progress. Gerald Jr. and Justin have been the motivating factor for the development of Kids for Chemistry. They are proof that young children can learn the chemistry concepts that are provided in the program and are dedicated to sharing that knowledge with others. Along with lecturing about chemistry to students of all ages, Gerald and Justin (and eventually Jacob) have been learning the ins and outs of running a business. They are actively involved in the production of our products and services.
