Mr. Tikisa M. Anderson Tikisa Anderson used his expert knowledge of systems engineering in the areas of high-speed digital design, fiber optics, satellite and ground network communications, data handling protocols (FDDI, 1773, 1553B, SONET, ATM), algorithm development, systems architecture, trade studies, planning, and risk assessments. He has managed engineers, in design and simulation of data-compression hardware algorithm, simulation team to verify fiber optic communications controller designs, and the design of 125 MHz, fiber optic communications bus controller ASIC. Tikisa designed Mil-Std-1553B Data Bus for satellite data handling networks and prepared satellite test compliance and verification documentation. He monitored satellite integration and test activities to ensure acceptance of test results according to system integration schedules, designed low-cost laser diode substitute for gas lasers in Navy test-bed Ordnance Unit, low-cost laser diode substitute for gas lasers in Navy test-bed Ordnance Unit and linearly predictive data compression hardware algorithm (DPCM). Tikisa was a past President of the Northern California Council of Black Professional Engineers (NCCBPE), a very active civic and community leader, taught in local colleges and universities and raised two wonderful children. |
